Golden Fruit Orchard started back in 1989 as a small fruit farm specializing in carambola targeting the local market. As years gone by, we have since grown to be a major player in the carambola export market, with a significant amount of our fruits being exported to Europe. We currently employ 50 people to manage
We believe in a symbiotic relationship with our clients, i.e. working closely with our client simply because we understand the simple fact that our business we are as dependent on our clients as our clients are dependent on us in producing good fruits to be marketed. In short, we essentially create a mutually beneficial relationship.
We are also particularly noted for our high quality fruits. In order to achieve this, we have stringent quality control being implemented within our farms, packing houses and in our dedicated cold rooms. With fruits produced from our own farms, we are able to have much better control over the quality of our fruits.
We implement a 2-tier quality control system within all our farms. Fruits are thoroughly checked from when the fruits is first harvested from the trees, to packaging the fruits into boxes and stored in our cold room. The fruits are then rechecked again for quality, ready to be shipped to our customers all over the world. Our coldroom are kept at a constant 7 degrees celcius to ensure that the fruits are always kept fresh.
Golden Fruit Orchard has also been awarded with the highly acclaimed GlobalGAP Fruit and Vegetables certification (formally known as EurepGAP), which is renewed on a yearly basis and our stringent procedures are checked thoroughly by inspectors in order to maintain this certification, which aim is to ensure integrity, transparency and harmonisation of global agricultural standards. We were also awarded GlobalGAP Risk Assessment on Social Practice (GRASP) Certification.
